We just wanted to say (a belated) thank you to Sweet As for our wonderful wedding cake on 21 May. The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious (we took the top tier on our honeymoon and ate it in a Kenyan safari lodge) and attracted many compliments from our guests. OH, the cake was SO AMAZING !!
Everybody thought so!
We just had the ten guests and so the cake took centre stage on our lunch table.
Not only did it look absolutely beautiful but it tasted DIVINE !!!
What a dreamy mix, dark chocolate cake, fresh berries, crunchy,white chocolate cigarellos and pouring cream - HEAVEN !
We were a little nervous that the cake had to travel 40 miles to reach our venue but thanks to your expertise it arrived safely and we are SO glad you were recommended to us!

It was so, so delicious and absolutely perfect with the cream and chocolate sauce that you suggested. A fantastic desert that finished off a fabulous meal. Lots of people commented on how tasty the cake was so you can be sure to receive many recommendations from us to our friends and family in the future. My 8 year old nephew was particularly enraptured by your masterpiece...seconds and thirds all the way for him! :0)
I also wanted to thank you for the consideration that you took towards those of our guests who had specific dietary requirements. The fact that you catered for nut-free and gluten-free meant a huge amount as those guests (the nut-free being my 10 year old niece) could still enjoy all the same food which was great to see. Hi Jenny,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for creating our gorgeous wedding cake for 14th August at Dormy House.
It was even more delicious than I remember the sample being, and many guests commented on how fabulous it looked. One person even said they wanted to put their face in it, but we think that would have been a bit of a waste! We had plenty left over and we finished the last pieces yesterday which was a sad moment!
I have recommended you to friends who are getting married, and the next time we can think of an excuse to get a cake we will be in touch again.
