Do you make only chocolate wedding cakes?
We make chocolate cakes for all occasions, though chocolate wedding cakes are our speciality. We also make Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle and carrot cakes too however as we specialise in chocolate cakes, we believe they are the best.

How much notice do you need for my chocolate cake?
We usually need a minimum of two weeks, but if you're in a rush it's worth asking what we can do at shorter notice. However the sooner you book your Sweet As chocolate cake the better. We have taken orders for chocolate wedding cakes up to a  year in advance – we know how long weddings take to organise – so the sooner you contact us, the better!

Do you make your own cakes?
All our cakes are made in our kitchens in Warwickshire with the very best ingredients including Belgian chocolate,  local free range eggs, local milk and cream. We never use cake mixes.

Do you make gluten-free chocolate cakes?
Yes, we make gluten-free chocolate cakes using ground almonds instead of flour. We use the same kitchen for both cakes, but we understand different levels of  intolerance so we make sure all areas are clean and fresh before making a gluten-free chocolate cake.

I've seen a picture of a chocolate cake that I like somewhere else; can you make it?
Yes, all our chocolate cakes are bespoke, so we can look at your design and bring our expertise to bear on it, even if you just have a rough idea of what you'd like. We're always looking at new ideas and trends and our cakes can be made in milk, dark or white chocolate and we will work closely with you to blend with your colour scheme and come up with a chocolate cake you will love – think the chocolate wedding cake of your dreams. .

Can I have a taste of the cake before we book?
Yes, we love to meet our customers in advance so they can have a taste of the chocolate cake and discuss design ideas; just email or give us a call to arrange your free consultation in the Warwickshire area.

Can you deliver our chocolate wedding cake?
Yes, we deliver to Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon, Coventry, Kenilworth and some Warwickshire, Cotswold and Birmingham areas.We will deliver and set the cake up at your venue, too.

Will my chocolate wedding cake melt in hot weather?
No, chocolate cakes can withstand quite high temperatures. It needs to be kept away from direct sunlight or radiators, but when we set the cake up for you we will make sure it's in the correct position.
