Welcome to Sweet As - Warwickshire’s award-winning chocolate specialist that creates show-stopping chocolate cakes, delectable chocolate brownies and a host of other sumptuous goodies, proving that we’re as fanatical about chocolate as you are! Working from our Leamington Spa bakery, each cake is handmade using the finest ingredients (think luxurious Belgian chocolate and locally-sourced free range eggs), meaning they taste as gorgeous as they look.
We know that people eat with their eyes first, this is why we believe it is so very important to have a cake that looks fantastic and tastes even better. Celebration cakes
Our delicious celebration cakes are a total sensation - moist and heavenly. After lovingly baking the sponge we add a layer of velvety chocolate ganache (made from fresh cream and high quality chocolate) to create a glossy chocolate sauce. With more than 50 different designs, your cake can be finished with anything from a fine layer of crisp Belgian chocolate, to dozens of fresh strawberries, dipped and drizzled with chocolate. Whichever style you choose, you're guaranteed a luscious tasting, stunning centrepiece to celebrate your special date.
Gluten-free cakes
No lover of chocolate is excluded from enjoying our cakes; our gluten-free cakes contain ground almonds instead of flour, making a slightly firmer (but equally delicious) wheat-free cake for anyone with special chocolate needs (or who just loves nuts). We make every effort to ensure your cake is completely wheat & gluten free, however we must make our customers aware that these cakes are baked in a kitchen which uses wheat & gluten.
Egg-free cakes
We are increasingly aware of the need to cater for customers who have food intolerances. In light of this, as well as a gluten free recipe, we can also provide a deliciously chocolatey egg free recipe and a dairy free one, meaning that nobody misses out on a chocolatey, celebratory slice of cake.
Chocolate-free cakes
Sometimes (very occasionally) we fancy a cake that doesn’t include chocolate, we also know that there are some people out there who are unable to eat chocolate and others (although we secretly don’t believe it) that don’t really like chocolate in their cakes. For these reasons we have a great selection of other flavours, all as equally mouth watering and delicious as our chocolate cakes. Need a classic Victoria sponge filled with indulgent homemade raspberry jam? We can do it. Got a craving for a zingy lemon cake? Our Lemon Chiffon will delight your taste buds.
